What Makes Myra Canyon So Special
The Kettle Valley Rail Trail is one of Canada’s most famous cycling routes. Built in the early 1900s as part of the Kettle Valley Railway, the trail winds along canyon walls high above the Okanagan Valley.
The Myra Canyon section is particularly famous for its wooden trestle bridges and dramatic cliffside views. Riders cross 18 historic trestles and two tunnels, offering panoramic views and incredible photo opportunities throughout the ride.
This gentle rail-grade trail is perfect for riders of all experience levels, making it an ideal adventure for families, couples, and groups.
Important Information
This experience requires a minimum of two guests to operate. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, guests will be offered an alternative date or time.
Paid parking is available throughout downtown Kelowna. The closest large parkade is the Library Plaza Parkade, located nearby at Doyle Avenue and Ellis Street.
Lakefront Sports reserves the right to cancel any tour due to safety, mechanical, or behavioral concerns. If your tour is cancelled, you will receive a rain check to rebook another time.
Your Tour Experience
Your adventure begins at Lakefront Sports Centre in downtown Kelowna, located beside the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort.
From there, our comfortable air-conditioned shuttle will transport you to the Myra Canyon trailhead. Once you arrive, your guide will provide an overview of the trail and lead the group on a 12 km guided ride through the canyon.
Along the way you’ll hear fascinating stories about the railway’s history, the engineering behind the trestles, and the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Expect plenty of photo stops and time to soak in the views as you cycle across one of British Columbia’s most unique outdoor attractions.
